The Honors Program cultivates deep learning in a community cohort to connect intellect, service, and faith into an ethical whole. In collaboration with their high-achieving peers from a range of majors, this dynamic community cohort model allows students to forge deep connections with peers and faculty.

At Goshen College, the Honors Program emphasizes creating a learning community. We are seeking candidates who radiate curiosity, commitment, and a passion for inquiry – students who thrive at asking “big questions” and doing good work. We also believe that diversity – of perspective, identity, and life experience – enriches a learning community. The purpose of this application and selection process is to help lay a foundation for that community, even though we recognize that the learning community must ultimately be created by the students themselves.
